I came across this photographer just today and had to share. Tim Flach’s photographs of horses are fabulous. They remind me of Edward Weston’s nudes . . . they are sensuous, abstract and utterly captivating. You really need to visit his site to see the full spectrum of his Equus project.

Hi, I’m working with Tim on the publicity for his book in the USA, and will be selling it for him this fall. Publication date is this Wednesday (September 17) and we expect a great response! Anyone is welcome to email me to order a copy (fran@hoofcare.com). The cost is $60 plus post.
So far, no plans for Tim to come to the USA but hopefully that will change! I’ve been a fan for a long time.
Not only are the photos beautiful; each one bears a detailed caption explaining something about the horse or the breed or the situation. It’s amazing!

Hi,
I’m about to do a job to take some images of horses. And I want to make them very special. So I’m looking for inspiration. And ofcourse the images of Tim are on my mind. But I’m wondering if you know some other sites which have outstanding and special images of horses. I don’t want t0 be a copy-cat I’m just looking for inspiration. Can you help me? They need to be astonishing.
