EQUINE Ink

Welcome to Equine Ink

Equine Ink is my writings and reviews on all topics equestrian. I started this site as a place to share my thoughts and experiences so that others can learn from my experiences.

I’ve come to understand that people who have horses generally have strong opinions about their care and training. However, as with raising children, there are many ways to achieve success. In this blog, I hope to stimulate discussion on some of these topics.

I just found Equine Ink, read your blog concerning the Equine simulators. I am Frank Lovato, the jockey and creator of the Equicizer. I would always be happy to share more information concerning the benefits of my creation, never intending to replace the real horse ;)
    Cheers!

I am fox hunting for the first time. There are many places to find out about the correct attire. However I have long hair and have never put it put or under or in a hair net. There are no places on the web to get the correct way. Sorry to be so dumb but wanting to make a good impression I think a womans hair is right up there with jacket, boots, and all that stuff.

I am looking for a lab that conducts a clinical study on horses that bleed during hard running.
A novel compound has helped 42 out 45 race horses stop bleding. It has no side effects.

    Thank you

My horse (6 yr old) has just been diagnosed with ‘kissing spines’ T18 and L1. Have been advised to start long lining before going down the route of riding again. Anyone who has any comments, ideas or advice would be welcome! Found this site while searching how to start long lining!

Hi, I like your website very much. Please, visit http://www.georgians.ge that deals with Georgian trick riders (from Caucasus) who rode with Buffali Bill and wrongly named as Russian Cossacks

    HI,

I was hoping that Equine Ink would blog about people researching those who they give their horses to… I mean, BEFORE they give them away. There are gobs of evil dealer types always trollong for free and cheap horses, and they always have a huge repetoire of ‘Little Suzy needs a pony’ stories that warm your heart and make you feel good about giving your horse to them. Unfortunately there is very rarely any ‘Little Suzy’, and we all know where the older, lame and unwanted horses go. ):

NEER has a ‘Bad People’ page, in hopes of warning the unsuspecting…

    http://www.newenglandequinerescues.com/badpeople.htm

We have ALL been duped…. this is for the horses.

    Thanks.
